L & N Equine offers a unique atmosphere for young horses to learn the ropes, experience life, and relax while being started under saddle. All of our babies are ridden in the indoor and outdoor rings and trail ride in groups and with a pony horse before heading to the track to explore their natural talents and begin gate and speed work. There are also numerous opportunities for young sport horses to get their feet wet showing at local unrated and rated shows for pennies on the dollar.
Lessons are available for beginner through advanced riders, both on their own mounts and on farm-owned lesson horses. Lauren is actively pursing her ICP certification and spent the last year coaching the University of Kentucky’s Dressage and Eventing teams to victory in the Intercollegiate Dressage Association. We also offer consultation services for owners looking to purchase both Thoroughbred’s and sport horses and we spend many hours at the Keeneland Sales appraising horses for our clients looking to invest.
